My name is Laura Muth,
 

I am a product & color designer,

30 years old & live in Hanover.

 

In addition to the current master's degree with a focus on Project development, Design management, integrative design, team-oriented leadership, strategic thinking & design-oriented research, I have gained a wide range of experience in the creative field and was able to do so thanks to numerous internships and work Gain insights into interior design, stage design, upholstery, costume, tailoring, textile and fashion design.

 

Among other things, I worked for the renowned Dutch fashion designer Iris van Herpen,

the TextileLAB Amsterdam & NOUMENA / PurTech Barcelona worked.

which allowed me to establish an international network of designers and materials researchers.

 

I am currently working in the material archive at HAWK Gestalt in Hildesheim.

I give workshops in the area of textile design & bioplastics myself and have curated my own exhibitions. My works have been exhibited both nationally and internationally: among others at the Grassi Messe, Leipzig & the Directors' House in Berlin & the Stammelbachspeicher in Hildesheim.

 

Together with Julia Gentili I am co-founder and designer of the work act: DIE COUSINEN.

In 2022, my BA thesis in product design attracted great international interest and was nominated for various design awards & awarded the IF Design Talented Award in Valencia.

I am currently receiving the Deutschlandstipendium for the second time.
